Contains the following information: 

~ Particulars of vessel. 

~ Daily noon position of the vessel. 

~ Inspection of accommodation. 

~ Inspection of provisions & fresh water. 

~ Arrival & departure drafts at various ports. 

~ Inspection of radio equipment. 

~ Inspection of Safety equipment. 

~ Routine drill records. 

~ Record of lowering of lifeboats. 

~ Routine drill record. 

~ Record of lowering of lifeboat. 

~ Crew sign on & sign off. 

~ Narrative entries of crew such as punishments, change of command, births, deaths, marriages etc. 

~ The wages due to any crew or apprentice who dies during the voyage & gross deduction to be made there from. 

~ The money or property taken over of any crew or apprentice who dies during the voyage. 

~ Every case of illness, hurt or injury happening to a member of the crew with the nature there of and the medical treatment.
